ROY LUBETKIN, President and CEO
Roy brings more than 25 years of experience working for food manufacturing and distribution businesses within the consumer, agricultural and industrial market segments. Prior to joining Backyard Farms, Roy was president of Country Products Group (CPG), a division of Agway Inc., one of the largest U.S. agricultural cooperatives. He was responsible for leading CPG’s $200 million portfolio of food manufacturing and distribution businesses, as well as its agricultural technology start-ups. Earlier, he served as general manager of the eastern U.S. region of Metz Baking Company, a $600 million privately-owned enterprise providing direct store delivery of branded and private label baking products. Prior to this, he was president of Churny Company, a division of Kraft Foods.
PAUL SELLEW, Co-Founder
Paul has a lifetime of greenhouse growing experience. His family’s business, Prides Corner Farms, is the largest wholesale nursery in New England. Paul also founded Earthgro, Inc., a leader in the production of natural and organic gardening products and composting systems. Paul graduated from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
WAYNE DAVIS, EVP and Co-founder
Wayne previously worked for Fidelity Investments in a variety of positions, including Chief Ethics Officer as well as Chief Compliance Officer for Fidelity Brokerage Company. Wayne graduated from Williams College and Harvard Law School. In 2004, Wayne was named “Conservationist of the Year” by the town of Carlisle, Massachusetts.
TIM CUNNIFF, EVP Sales and Marketing
Tim has over 13 years of sales and marketing experience, beginning his career with Dole Food Company, Inc. While at Dole, Tim was part of the "Produce for Better Health Foundation", where he helped launch their National 5-A-Day program. Tim also served as director of marketing for Del Monte Fresh Produce. His additional experience includes marketing roles with both Pepsi and Oppenheimer. Tim received his BS in marketing from St Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
